Imports of bananas in exchange for raisin exports
Minister of Agriculture Jahad Mahmood Hojjati said: government supports producers and exporters of raisin by allocating five thousand Rials of subsidies for the production of each kilogram of this product, as well as determining and enjoying preferential tariffs for imports of bananas in exchange for raisin exports.

The major part of garden products including raisins, pistachios and saffron, are produced for export purposes and it is necessary to produce and supply these products in the chain and in accordance with the needs of target markets.
The Minister of Agricultural Jahad emphasized the importance of boosting the supply of agricultural products on the mercantile exchange and added: Currently, maize and barley are fully available and other products such as pistachios and saffron are supplied on the agricultural mercantile exchange,too.
